Hi Alan it's Carol from the Black Mirror - the Albatross hasn't gone but it is having to move inside the hotel (council orders) and right now it is a building site my husband is over there just now with Burhan getting ready for the new season so I have it on good authority. I don't think it will do very well inside the building as there is not a lot of room but we will see. Hope this helps

I just spoke to Omar and he is starting to rebuild the Albatross Bar as of tomorow, it will not be gone it will not be inside it will be better than ever. So you must give it a go for sure when you are in Marmaris
They do have to move inside (the Black Mirror does not as it is leased from the hotel) if they are attached to hotels this is happening all over Marmaris and it is council rules and the Albartross is one of them. Things have been said on other sites re the Alabatross by a member of staff all of which have not gone ahead and have been proven to be false. We have spoken to the owners of the Albartross and from what they have said it will be inside the hotel so I guess the moral of this wee story is wait til you get there and see for yourself
